DUPLO VALLEY COMES TO LEGOLAND WINDSOR RESORT IN 2013
25th January 2013
  • DUPLO Valley coming in 2013
  • It will replace DUPLO Land
  • Three new attractions planned

2013 will be the year of DUPLO at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

LegolandLegoland have confirmed they will be adding a new themed area to their park in 2013, named DUPLO Valley. Planning permission has been granted for the new land and hoarding has been installed around the area in recent weeks, announcing the land to those visiting the park.

DUPLO Valley will replace DUPLO Land, with three new attractions alongside enhancements to the existing attractions. The new land will retain Cuddles Corner and DUPLO Train, renamed as Brickville Express. DUPLOville, a new village of DUPLO houses and characters, will replace Waterworks. It will feature the likes of dinosaurs, princesses and clowns in an interactive walk through attraction alongside Cuddles Corner, which will have new seating overlooking the attraction. Locations will include The Caveman House, The Castle, The Garage, The Builders House, The Travelling Circus, The Clowns Cake Shop and The Police Station around a roundabout with sounds, slides, climbing and tunnels. DUPLO Playtown will also be replaced by DUPLO Splash Safari, full of supersized DUPLO animals in a water based play area similar to the now closed Waterworks. A waterfall and raft rapids will run alongside this area, with a giant tipping LEGO brick. Finally, Drench Towers, which will be the largest outdoor water play structure in the UK, will replace Mole In One Golf. It will be a themed climbing frame structure, surrounded by waterguns and supervised by a new lifeguard and first aid station.

Are you looking forward to trying the new DUPLO Valley? Will you miss the old attractions? Tell us your thoughts...
